The Challenge

A boutique law firm specializing in IP law had terabytes of past case files (PDFs, Word docs) stored on a shared drive. Finding a precedent clause took hours of manual searching.

The Solution

We built a secure, on-premise RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) system.

1. Ingestion: We OCR'd scanned PDFs and split them into chunks.
2. Embedding: Used text-embedding-3-large to create vector representations.
3. Interface: A simple chat UI where lawyers ask: "Find me clauses related to force majeure in software contracts from 2020-2023."

The Results
